[ Google Review ] One of the busiest airport in Japan, the staff are friendly. The airport isn't as huge compared to other international airport. You might want to buy your food first at the Lawson convenience store after check in and please arrive 3-4hours in advance. The security check points take us 1.5hour and the queue is insanely long. No time to go for window shopping inside the departure hall as we left only 1hour before our STD. SIN --> KIX
Walk around the area
—Get admission ticket + express pass online, save QR code to scan for entry —Download USJ app, check opening time (varies daily) —Get there earlier than open time —Bring your own food (onigiri/sandwiches) they will stop you for bag check, just declare that it’s “halal” and they will approve (no halal food in park, only drinks) —Run to Super Nintendo World first if you don’t have timed entry tickets for that attraction, early entry does not require tickets —If you get there late, secure “Timed entry tickets” for Super Nintendo World on the USJ app —Follow entry time and ride times on your tickets, strictly
—Request for halal menu, mostly seafood —some souvenir shops as you exit Universal city
Train to Osaka ~ 15 mins
- Once we stop about 10 minutes walk to the starting point of the Hozugawa River Cruise
-We can buy at klook (pre-book activity) - 2 hour ride 9:00 to 15:00 (March 10 to December 13, hourly departures) 10:00 to 14:30 (December 14 to March 9, departures every 90 minutes) On busy days boats depart irregularly according to demand.
[ Google Review ] Nice designs of bamboo trees around the train track, shops and restaurants. You can take pictures at night when it comes to life with its lights. It can be crowded at times so it’s best to visit at the beginning of evening or very late at midnight when everything closes up. The place and surrounding area got a new touch and a nice atmosphere after such simple yet elegant addition of bamboo trees designs reflecting the main attraction of the village.
[ Google Review ] FREE PROS: It is easy to find. We rode bikes along the river and crossed then parked right on the left side to walk to see the monkeys. There are boats on the right side and sitting g on the left to relax. Shops have drinks to sip on and enjoy people watching or just sitting. CONS: Very crowded, but still manageable.
—museum in castle —take lift to 8th floor and work your way downwards by stairs [ Google Review ] The castle itself is super impressive. It's beautiful and can be seen from quite a distance away, making it feel very grand. The surrounding area of the castle is also really nice. On one side is a river/lake? That is lined with cherry blossom trees, and on the other is stalls filled with yummy food. The area gets very busy pretty quickly, so if you want to go up the castle (which I imagine is an impressive view), then it might be best to go earlier in the day.
[ Google Review ] Very nice mosque with friendly brothers mostly from India, Bangladesh, and some other Muslim countries. You have to either take a taxi to reach the mosque, or the train (a 15-minute walk to the nearest station). But certainly worth the effort.
[ Google Review ] Really lovely place. Most of the places close before 7pm. There are many onsens for you to choose. And here, you can find the buses you want to take you to other locations in hakone.
[ Google Review ] Reached at 10 am before main crowds built up. Took Ropeway from Togendai. Wind was really blowing real strong. Do bring breaker, gloves and headgear to cover head and ears. Too cold to walk much. But can see steam and smell sulphur. Experience of view great.
[ Google Review ] Visited this place many times as I stop by on the way to see Mt Fuji often. It’s a really nice place, in terms of nature, but can get really crowded. To take a picture with the gate, be prepared for a queue. I guess try to avoid weekends and peak hours if you want to fully enjoy, or not because you are the master of your own life and I believe in your choices
[ Google Review ] It's a fun ride. Nothing special about the cruise itself but the ride is scenic. If you stay in Motohakone, recommend you come back via this cruise to save you time and it costs about the same as a bus ride back. We took the premium seats which cost 600 more yen and gives you front seats to the boat.
[ Google Review ] Lake Ashi in Japan is a tranquil and picturesque destination. The serene waters, surrounded by lush greenery and with a backdrop of Mount Fuji, create a stunning natural setting. Whether you're taking a boat cruise or enjoying a lakeside walk, it offers a peaceful escape.

[ Google Review ] most beautiful mountain I've ever climbed. Despite what you may read online, it's NOT an easy hike. Oxygen will be depleted by the 8th station. Do your research, check the weather, and make sure you can climb it and back before the last bus, or you will sleep on the mountain. Bring lots of water, snacks, and oxygen. It will take 4-7 hours to climb ONE WAY, depending on your ability.
[ Google Review ] What a gorgeous viewing point for Mount Fuji! We’re so lucky that the skies are clear and we get a clear view of the mountain. Coupled with the red and yellow leaves all over, it really sets the scene for a breathtaking sight. Definitely recommended for everyone!
[ Google Review ] Most people who review don’t come in winter so I thought I would leave a review. We came at the end of December when it was -7 degrees Celsius. The snow cap of fujisan is awesome in winter and you can get the best view in the morning here. Any later, you will get back light. There were free toilets. The park is free to enter, many of the flowers are just planted or past its season so you won’t get the full effect. Ice cream was affordable at y500 for any flavour. If you walk a little further you will be able to avoid the Chinese tourists who come in bus loads.
[ Google Review ] The all day pass was so worth it! Go early and try all of the rides. Their hyper 5th dimension rollercoasters hold world records. The food selection here was also really good. There’s a Lawson just outside and you have in/out privileges so you could also eat there and save some money. If you love amusement parks this Truly cannot be missed. This was one of the highlights of our trip. WAY better than Universal Studios!

All you can eat beef, lamb, chicken and many more menus start from 3500 yen. CHEAPER if you come in lunch time (11-16 pm) with lunch set beef around 1000-2000 yen.
[ Google Review ] Great area for food and souvenir shopping! The magnets I found here were super cute and affordable and found my favorite takoyaki stall here (only 400yen for 8 juicy pieces). I visited at day but at night is probably even better. Recommended!
—Cremia: best soft serve ice cream in langue de chat cone —souvenir shops
[ Google Review ] One of the largest electric appliances stores in Tokyo. Huge selections of all kinds of goods from kitchen to stationary to skincare. One stop shop for many tourists, with tax free service of course. Be mindful of what voltage your home country uses as here in Japan 100 V is the standard. Had to stop myself from buying lots of cool appliances as the voltage won't work back home. Fun place to shop or even just to browse.

[ Google Review ] One of the most deserted airports I've ever been. Almost no stores around. No electric outlets in any seat in my gate. Had to sit down on the floor to charge my electronic devices. Really, in 2023??
—Lawson convenience store for breakfast food

—have a picnic and chill [ Google Review ] The central river that runs through Kyoto is so beautiful to just walk or ride along. Lots of local bird wild life so great for bird spotting/photography as well. The restaurants lining the shores of the river create such a majestic feeling. Leaves you with a feeling you a wondering through ancient times.
