[ Google Review ] We went to Inishmore for the day. We left early and got the Ferry. It's the big Island. We did a tour around the Island. It's a very big Island. You need to do a tour around it. If you get the ferry. You only have a few hours. So by doing the tour you get to see all the sites. It's a great place to visit. Lots to see. You can Cycle as well. I recommend going to see it.
[ Google Review ] This is a great place on Inishmore. We did a tour around the Island. We stopped off to climb Dun Aonghasa. It takes about an hour up and back to get to The top. Then when we come down. We had refreshments in the cafe area. The Scenery is stunning from the top. It's worth a visit.
[ Google Review ] My new favourite beach. White sand warm clear water seashells. Lovely. Magic.
[ Google Review ] The place is really beautiful! The hole itself isn't that impressing, but the site and the panorama view is stunning! Yet, there is a lot to be done about making the route clear and easy to follow...
[ Google Review ] Another amazing to-be place in InishMore. The views and the formation of The Black Fort is spectacular!! Not for the weak hearts, as it requires good physical and mental strength to explore this place. The way to reach is not clear and until you get some strong guidance, you’d not be able to reach the exact spot. There isn’t a defined way, so one will have to find their own way. However once you somehow reach the spot, it’s worth the every bit of effort and the memories would last for a lifetime.
[ Google Review ] A great place in the Island to sit down and relax, and if you’re lucky spot quite a lot of seals - there is a reason that this place is called the seal colony. A few tips, as shared (by a great Tasmanian lady who runs a small shops with refreshments there - make sure to say a hi when you’re there) and then experienced personally, Google for “Tide times in InishMore” and then come a find a place 2 hours before to 2 hours after the low tide time on a bright day. That’s your best bet to spot seals as they come out and rest, play, have fun! During high tide times they are in the sea fishing. You could spot a head or a tail somewhere anytime, but to see them in their beauty, +- 2 hours of low tide time is the best bet. And any time you’re here, you won’t we disappointed as there is a beautiful lake nearby with some cute swans and ducks.
[ Google Review ] Good lighthouse
[ Google Review ] The service was nice. Apart from that, the food didn't have a good quality, and it was very overpriced. The fish was very greasy and dry, and the burger was also dry. The tomatoe soup was very sweet, but the chowder was good. I wouldn't recommend it, even though there aren't many options on the island. The beer price was good nevertheless.
[ Google Review ] Top experience. Highly recommend this great team. The location is convenient by the ferry, restaurants and accommodation. Also, boat access is a stones throw away so those concerned with walking with heavy gear need not worry. I did the nearby “breaking wall” dive in clear, calm, shallow waters. Tons to see in an engaging and relaxing environment suitable for all. Lorna, dude/darling, you’re the best. Thanks all, for being flexible to my awkward schedule.
[ Google Review ] We landed on Inis Mor Pier. It's a nice pier. Lots of space. They need a big pier in Inis Mor. Lots of Ferries stop off here.
[ Google Review ] If you are looking for an amazing restaurant on Inishmor .I highly recommend visiting The Bay View Restaurant. The food was amazing. and The Staff are all so professional, kind and genuinely care about their guests. The chowder , Fish&Chips and desserts tasted delicious. I had such a great experience that I returned immediately Very clean restaurant and restrooms. This establishment rates five stars and more! It should be noted I am originally from Dublin Ireland and lived in the United States for over thirty years and served in the United States Marines all over the world. I definitely know a great reason from all my life experiences and travels all over the world. I definitely will return in the near future! A must visit if you are looking for great food. You definitely won’t be disappointed!
[ Google Review ] This place will blow your mind! I don't have a picture on this device of Cathaoir Synge but here is one of a nearby stone wall. It's on a secluded part of the island and once you are there it is apparent why a famous writer would move out here and the kind of Inspiration he had to work with. Incredibly peaceful and tranquil place. Perfect to reflect and be alone with your thoughts. The birds whizz past and the sounds of the ocean send you into a trance. Spectacular views of the Atlantic galway Bay and Inis Mor. These kinds of places are often sullied by commercial interests but you get exactly what you want here.
[ Google Review ] Most visitors to the island do not venture onto this beach at all. That is great for the terns who nest in its white sands. It is a little off the beaten track as are most of the more interesting bits of coast on this island. Walking to the Trá Gainimh along the coast is quite uncomfortable, like walking over scree. A great place for a long private beach walk. I've never seen anybody swimming off this point of the island
[ Google Review ] The best selection anywhere, and there were several prototypes on the shelves. Most of the shop is for men, and most of those are size Medium, but we still managed to spend our money. The girl in the shop was very helpful. They do close for lunch, be sure to check the hours before you make this pilgrimage.
[ Google Review ] It's falling apart, but its worth going to see, it's a bit of a walk from the pier, we hired out a few bikes on the island so got to it fairly quickly, i only went to see it because its the boat off Fr Ted, you can walk all around it but i wouldn't be climbing it as its a bit of a rust bucket
[ Google Review ] We were amazed! Very beautiful ancient island! You need 1 day or more to see everything. And if God blesses you, you will see dolphins, seals or both ❤️
[ Google Review ] Incredible beach, with crystal clear water. Slightly chilly for a swim in May, but there were several folk taking a dip. 3 mins walk to shower and changing at the campsite immediately behind the sand dunes, which offer cracking views. Only a short stroll from the Man of Aran fudge stall and a coffee at the pub to warm up. This beach has a flat sandy bottom.
[ Google Review ] So much organised stone. Nothing but stone walls but so beautifully done
