[ Google Review ] The staff greeting was great. The room and the bathroom were nice. The parking situation was extraordinarily convenient. Welcoming pets without a fee is fantastic. But we have one big gripe. Our room, 126, faced the street and at 12:30 AM a large truck servicing the hotel made A LOT of noise right outside out window. Beeping backing up. Air brake noise. Then banging carts in and out of the truck. This went on for about half an hour. While it may be convenient to get deliveries at that time for the hotel, it is not a good time for guests who are trying to sleep!
[ Google Review ] Ramen bowl can get a but pricey, but it's very good. If yiu like to spice their level 10, enma is not spicy, just a kick but flavorful broth. Personally, I think they add too much corn and bamboo, and I would rather have the egg whole instead of already sliced, and for the price of an extra egg, get a whole egg. It's a bit crowded but comfortable, not too much room for a bowl and drink, though
[ Google Review ] Last night was a good experience. The cocktails were great and the food was good. I ordered the wedge salad with the billionaire bacon to start, then the scallops for the entree.
[ Google Review ] We were looking for a Morning Breakfast spot, and we found Sweet Maple. It did not disappoint! The service was great and very attentive. I never had to ask for a water or coffee refill. The servers were helpful with menu questions. The Millionaires Bacon is worth the $. With my south of the border scramble, it was the best chorizo I've ever had in a scramble, not super oily. Out of all the breakfast places we were looking at, we are glad we went with Sweet Maple. I almost forgot to mention the potatoes on their breakfast plates are so good! They are like crispy seasoned fries in a breakfast potato.
[ Google Review ] Wonderful area, nice layout, staff very helpful in the store, snack coffee shop with views of the bay, information on plaques for better understanding of history of bridge. Amazing views of city, bay, & bridge 🌉. Nicely landscaped. Some souvenirs are cheaper here than in the city, like the fog snow globe if bridge.
[ Google Review ] Visiting the Ghirardelli Chocolate Experience in San Francisco was an absolute delight, especially for a history and chocolate enthusiast like myself. Despite the 45-minute wait to get in, the experience was undoubtedly worth it. While waiting, I had the opportunity to immerse myself in the rich history of Ghirardelli, learning about the origins and the meticulous process of making their renowned chocolates and treats. The place is a haven for those who adore Sundaes and Chocolates. My visit happened to be on a weekend, which meant the place was bustling with activity. Despite the crowd, the service was impressively quick, a testament to the efficiency and dedication of the staff. However, due to the high volume of visitors, I noticed that the tables weren’t cleaned as promptly or thoroughly as one might expect. Additionally, finding a place to sit was a bit of a challenge, given the popularity of the venue. These aspects, while minor, did somewhat affect the overall comfort of the experience. What stood out most to me was the charming gesture of offering free chocolate samples to each customer, regardless of whether they made a purchase. This act of generosity not only added to the welcoming atmosphere but also allowed visitors to taste the quality of Ghirardelli's products firsthand.
[ Google Review ] After reading about this famous San Francisco bakery we decided to try it. We ordered a clam chowder soup, which was good. The sourdough bread was fresh and delicious. We also ate a almond croissant, good but nothing super special. Unfortunately, there were out of the animal breads my kids wanted to eat
[ Google Review ] We had a fun time here. They have a lot of old interactive mechanical games and plenty of arcade games. Price ranges from 25¢ to 2$ per game. There are also 2 claw machines if you would like to get some souvenir, one of them has 100% win rate, so you will get an item guaranteed. Overall an interesting interactive museum and the entrance is free!
[ Google Review ] Found this hidden gym and am I excited ! Large clean space with an open kitchen. The back area is adorned by jazz greats, large tables with comfy seats. What’s unique about this place is the owner, Brian. He’s very knowledgeable about wine. Give him a varietal or name of a brand and he can provide exceptional recommendations. The wine list here is global- unlike nearby wine bars. Another bonus is the full kitchen! No more boring cheese and crackers. The experience here is all about elevating your knowledge and palate, if you choose. Super friendly staff and delicious food. Great spot for date night, work meetings or hosting a gathering of friends. Will be back to try something new. Been here a few times and service is always on point. East parking, outside patio has heated lamps but I like inside vibe. Will be back ! Thanks !!
[ Google Review ] Long-time member and am planning to drop it. Recently got to know some of the people who run the place and had a very poor experience. The building is beautiful and I always wanted it to be great, but in the end it's a facade that is extremely mediocre beneath the surface. Such a shame because it has so much potential.
[ Google Review ] Amazing food and service. Everything was amazing, new innovative flavors. The textures and flavors on display were new and enjoyable. All these different ingredients combined very well to create unique flavors. The service was as expected from a high end restaurant, amazing. Did not have to wait long for food and I quite enjoyed being able to see the food through their dim sum style flavoring. I accidentally stabbed my waiter in the hand and I wanted to apologize but she just left. I felt very bad and if you are seeing this, I am sorry. Along with the food and service, the atmosphere was average. I would give 3 stars to the atmosphere but they played amazing music. I’m talking Kanye, rap, r&b, and a lot of amazing songs. This really heightened my energy and senses. Overall amazing.
[ Google Review ] My favorite egg tarts in the Chinatown that I can easily get. Fresh bolo baos are amazing and their sponge cakes are nice and fluffy. I’m also partial to the flaky pastries, especially the curry beef pastry.
[ Google Review ] Do not rob yourself of this amazing opportunity. The ambiance itself was worth the trip. On top of that, they were super kind to us. They gave us a free sample of straight from the oven warm cookie! Let me tell you, I've always had a LOVE affair with fortune cookies, but that sample was a game changer! I am OBSESSED! We made a purchase, and they threw in the little tote bag with their logo, a calendar, and more samples. This is an iconic American business. It deserves our support.
[ Google Review ] Fun place to check out! They have lots of different speciality rolls and their fish quality was very good. We got the fatty toro nigiri and it truly was such a buttery piece of fish. The sushi train is very fun , if you order larger plates a robot comes to give them to you, and the service is very quick! We were seated right away and there seems to be plenty of seating. Id come here with a group of up to 5. Might not be the most authentic but good sushi and great atmosphere, a little pricey but this was a fun spot in a tourist zone so its expected.
[ Google Review ] Must-try if you're around the area. Had the kalbijim croissant, matcha butter mochi, hojicha cream puff and a coffee, and what a way to start the day! The kalbijim croissant is the perfect combination of sweet and savory. It's hearty and wholesome with the hint of heat and melted cheese. The cream puff was also excellent. A nice brittle exterior with an oozy, soft core. That thing was filled with cream. Choose your own adventure, all the selections are great!
