[ Google Review ] Came here for a one night stay. Was assigned a top bunk but couldn’t get up there. I came down and told the receptionist Luca that I had trouble getting up on the top bunk and that id be fine sleeping on a booth in the lounge. He said fine but then came back and told me he’d try as hard as possible to find me a bottom bunk and said “You have to sleep in a bed.” This line alone shows how selfless the staff is here and that alone is enough for me to give this place 5 stars. Not to mention this place was only like 45 USD/night and I met some cool people staying here

[ Google Review ] The rooms were Absolute spotless, the sheets and pillowcases were very fresh and very clean, and the bathrooms were always kept in the best of shape. The rooms weren't the only great part about my time at the Samesun, the staff were amazing and such friendly people! They were so accommodating; this was my first time staying in a hostel and with me being young they were so helpful made sure I was comfortable. Also, the atmosphere was so fun and energetic there were fun events going on and so many laughs and good times have experienced there, its honestly the best place to stay while your time in Banff and I will definitely be booking my next stay there! Thank you again to all the staff who are hardworking and so friendly, you are appreciated!

[ Google Review ] 4 Starts for the reservation system only. After all the hype around it we finally managed to get a reservation for the 5-6 PM shuttle. That said the reservation system is pretty awfully managed. 48hrs, 7 AM PDT, before the day of visit is when some 50% of bus tickets are released but when I was online exactly at 7 AM all tickets were gone in a fraction of a second. No clue if there are machines buying these or people really trying to get them. Anyways, once we had the tickets it was easy to get to the park and ride and get on the bus to the Lake. Unfortunately there were too many fires around so the air quality wasn’t the best and it was hazy, nevertheless the lake was beautiful. The color of the water was nothing like I have seen before. Pictures don’t do justice to the scenery but that’s what everyone was doing out there anyways!!! We hiked up the rock pile took a few pictures and just sat down and soaked in the beauty of the lake, the mountains around it, the snow caps, the smoky sky, greenery and all the other elements of nature! Walked along the shore for a bit as well. Missed canoeing as they closed at 5:20PM and we got there about 5:45PM. But definitely recommend it. All in all we had a very good time visiting the lake.

[ Google Review ] This is a must after taking the gondola and that long climb. It’s so relaxing. They even rent bathing suits and towels. Your locker is included with admission and large if you have more than one bag like me. You walk out the door into a pool area they have made for the spring. It’s great to enjoy it with people from all over the world. It wasn’t overfilled when I went but there were quite a few people. When you’re in the water it feels like your stress melts away… very chill. This would also make a very cheap and romantic date. The value for what you get to experience is incredible! I don’t know how some people complain about paying less than $20 a person? lol how is that expensive? Go enjoy the hot spring, you won’t miss the $17.50 hahaha Banff Upper Hot Springs is a major regional attraction, offering visitors a relaxing soak in hot mineral-rich water with stunning mountain views that Canada is known for. The springs are easily accessible by car, located just under three miles outside of town.
